Mechanical workhop
This mechanical workshop is dedicated to the fabrication of steel pieces for our set-ups.
Metrology
- Tailor made test specimen instrumentation (strain gauges, vibrating wire sensors, image analysis, extensometers, fiber optic sensors)
- Electrochemical monitoring (weigh scale, pHmeter, reference electrode, T+HR, sensors O2 and CO2)
- Static and dynamic monitoring of real structures
- Fiber optic monitoring (innovation on this technology or innovative use for structural dynamic monitoring and novelty detection based on modal analysis)
- Innovative use of GNSS-based monitoring of structures
- Successive image analysis at different times to detect a change of structural behaviour
Welding workshop
Allows the on-site production of supports, assembly elements and other pieces necessary for the tests in progress. Several welding processes are available such as TIG, MAG, MMA, OXYCUTTING
Laboratory rooms
The strong floor and the associated modular superstructures enable to test various shapes of full-scale prototypes. Besides, the laboratory rooms enable to characterize the materials for civil engineering and to conduct durability tests.
