Experimentation and Modeling Laboratory for Civil and Urban Engineering
EMGCU laboratory
The laboratory Experimentation and Modeling for Civil and Urban Engineering (EMGCU), is one of the laboratory from the Materials and Structures (MAST) department, a research component from Gustave Eiffel university. The laboratory is specialized in research and development. We study the cycle of life and the security of infrastructures. The research focuses on concrete structures, from the design to the end-of-life, including anomaly detection and innovative remedies.
EMGCU Laboratory is composed of almost 30 workers, 19 fully-equiped laboratory rooms and a testing platform (600m² test slab). It provides first-rate facilities at European level for research and studies in Civil and Urban engineering.
