Innovative structural design with UHPFRC

Developed in the late 90s, Ultra High Performance Fibre-Reinforced Concrete (UHPFRC) are materials increasingly used in building and civil engineering construction sectors. Their development is mainly based on the possibility of designing sustainable structures with less materials, which requires to develop adequate designing rules. The research work on UHPFRC at EMGCU laboratory aims to help update existing design provisions through some numerical and experimental analyses.
