Innovative design of materials and structures
This topic focuses on innovative materials and techniques, and their use in construction, in order to optimise their mechanical or environmental performance. Research on this field includes the development of some constitutive laws and experiments dedicated to these new techniques to promote their use. This work contributes to the establishment of constructive or normative solutions. The laboratory also develops methods to assess the environmental impact, in an eco-design context.
